Back in time

I've been thinking about various topics I could blog (share) with you. One of them is past works. Then today as I got off the bus after my day of work in the city - it struck me! Ten years ago I was pregnant with twins! What I didn't know then was that my waters would break at 29 weeks and I would then spend a month in hospital trying to not go into labor. Our little babies (boy and girl) were then born 7 weeks premature and weighed 2kg and 1.8kg (around 5lbs). Anyway! while I was in hospital my husband got me some colored paper and i cut and stuck and held onto some calmness .. These are two of the works from that time. I didn't set out deliberately to do this 'fertility' theme - it just happened!
Amazing - I can't believe I'm about to organise their 10th birthday!

ps - if you know someone who's stuck in bed - maybe take them some coloured paper, a sketchbook, glue and some Matisse reference...
